§ XV. Mayor and city council compensation.

Each councilmember of the City of Madison shall receive a salary of $5,400.00 per annum, payable in monthly installments on the first day of each month. The mayor of the City of Madison shall receive a salary of $8,400.00 per annum, payable in monthly installments on the first day of each month. The mayor pro tempore of the City of Madison shall receive a salary of $6,000.00 per annum, payable in monthly installments on the first day of each month.
