§ 2-217. Membership.

The Planning and zoning commission shall be composed of seven members, all of whom shall reside within, and appointed by the mayor and city council of the City of Madison. Following initial appointments of members for four one-year terms and three two-year terms, thereafter terms of the commission shall be for three years and any vacancy appointment shall utilize the unexpired term. No commission member shall receive compensation for public service.
